Light began to pour into the hotel room through a crack in the curtains, warm sunlight beaming across Josh's chest on a chilly morning. He was still asleep, lightly snoring, but the morning progressed and he was soon to wake.
Josh peacefully lied on his back feeling a heavy weight on his outstretched arm and across his chest. Body fully rested, his eyes began to slowly crack open, taking in the morning light, feeling something warm snuggling up against his side. It was then that reality finally hit Josh and his eyes widened.
"What the fuck!" Josh yelled, pushing Tyler off of him. Tyler, who was originally embracing Josh, awoke with a start and flailed around before falling off the edge of the bed.
"What the fuck were you doing on my bed?!" Josh demanded. Tyler could only sit on the floor and fidget around with his fingers slightly before replying.
"I got lonely?" He said, an innocent smile on his face. Josh scowled at Tyler before sighing.
"Fine, whatever," Josh said, obviously not amused, yet he had a blush forming across his face. It managed to stay out of Tyler's notice.
"Admit it, Josh. You liked it," Tyler joked. Josh only remained quiet, much to Tyler's suspicion. He decided to just shrug it off.
Josh had to admit to himself, he liked the warmth of Tyler against him on this particularly cold morning. But it wasn't so much anything special as it was just a source of heat, but Josh did think about it now and then, always deciding against the idea. Tyler was a sweet guy that only ever seemed to want Josh's attention but it just didn't seem like a good idea. To risk a friendship like that isn't in Josh's plans.
"So, should we go get some breakfast?" Tyler asked, breaking the long silence between them.
"Yeah, sure, that sounds good. Where did you have in mind?" Josh asked.
"Anywhere that has bananas!" Tyler joyfully replied.
"Bananas?" Josh smirked.
"Yeah, because this shit is bananas, L-P-Q-T-F-O-S!"
"You're a fucking idiot, Tyler," Josh laughed while slipping on a hoodie, grabbing the car keys. "Come on, let's go find an IHOP or something," he said, opening the front door.
Tyler gave a overjoyed, girlish squeal in response and followed Josh out the the door.
